1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files saved by the browser. Local storage and session storage keep information directly in the browser, while pixels, tags, and attribution identifiers may perform similar functions.
In this policy, "cookies" includes these technologies where the legal rules or their function are similar.
2. Who uses the technologies
First-party cookies are set by Recompensated for session, security, language, preferences, and attribution. Third-party cookies may be set by providers such as Google, offerwall partners, cashback networks, or content providers when their integration is activated.
Third parties may act as independent controllers for technologies on their pages, iframes, or redirects. Their policies provide additional information.
3. Consent and exemptions
Cookies necessary for communication, security, authentication, and a feature expressly requested by you may be used without consent within the limits of law. We request consent before enabling optional analytics, advertising, personalisation, and other non-essential technologies.
The banner allows you to Accept all, Reject all, or choose categories. Optional categories are disabled by default. Rejection is as accessible as acceptance and does not prevent core account functions.
4. Changing and withdrawing your choice
You can open Cookie settings from the footer at any time, change categories, and withdraw consent. The change applies prospectively; known optional first-party and Google cookies are actively expired and the page reloads so optional integrations are no longer loaded. Other third-party cookies may require removal through your browser or the third party.
The current choice is stored in your browser. We also retain an accountability record on our server containing the policy version, selected categories, time, a random-browser identifier hash, and hashed IP and user-agent values.
If you delete the consent record or we use a new version of the mechanism, the banner may appear again.
5. Categories
- Necessary and security: session, authentication, CSRF protection, 2FA, fraud prevention, and storage of the consent choice.
- Preferences and requested features: language, interface state, and session-only attribution of a referral link expressly visited.
- Analytics: measurement of platform use for reporting and improvement.
- Marketing and third-party integrations: advertising, campaign attribution, offerwall content, cashback, and other partner technologies.

Language is read before the page is displayed. A referral code explicitly visited is held only in the server-side session and is cleared after attribution; Recompensated does not create a separate persistent referral cookie.

Google Analytics loads only if the integration is configured and the Analytics category has been accepted. Google consent signals are denied by default.

Third-party content and scripts registered by Recompensated in the Marketing category activate only after that category is accepted. If you leave the site through an external link, the partner page applies its own consent mechanism.
10. Browser controls
Your browser allows you to view and delete cookies, block them, and clear local storage. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent sign-in, form protection, language preference, or activity attribution.
Do Not Track settings do not have a uniform technical response across services. Use our settings panel and browser controls for direct control.
11. Inventory updates and language
We update the inventory when integrations or purposes change. Because partner cookies may change outside our direct control, the partner policy remains the precise source for technology set on its domain.
The policy is published only in Romanian and English. If there is a translation discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
