Crypto puts you in charge of your own funds, which is freeing and a little daunting. The good news: a handful of habits cover almost all of the risk.

Guard your seed phrase

When you create a wallet, it gives you a recovery phrase, usually 12 or 24 words. Anyone with that phrase controls your funds. Write it down offline, store it somewhere safe, and never type it into a website or share it with anyone.

Verify the receiving address

Same rule as Bitcoin: copy the address from your wallet, paste it, and check the first and last characters. Clipboard-swapping malware targets crypto specifically, so this quick check matters.

Beware of urgency and "too good" offers

Scams lean on pressure — act now, limited time, double your ETH. Real withdrawals are calm and boring. If something is rushing you or promising free crypto for sending some first, walk away.

Keep your account secure too

Wallet safety pairs with account safety. Use a strong, unique password on your rewards account and enable two-factor authentication so a withdrawal cannot be requested without you.

Cash out safely

Seed phrase offline, address verified, two-factor on. With those in place, your Ethereum withdrawal is low-stress.

Go to rewards

Rewards depend on advertiser tracking and validation, and some offers take time to credit. Follow each offer's instructions, avoid VPNs, fake information, and multiple accounts, and double-check crypto wallet addresses — crypto transfers are usually irreversible. Recompensated is not employment or guaranteed income.

Common questions

What is gas on Ethereum?

Gas is the network fee that pays to process your transaction. It rises and falls with demand, so the fee on an ETH withdrawal is not a fixed number.

Is my seed phrase the same as my password?

No, and it is far more sensitive. Anyone with your recovery phrase controls your funds. Store it offline and never type it into a website. No legitimate service will ask for it.

Why is the fee different each time?

Block space is limited, so when the network is busy, fees rise as transactions compete for space. During quiet periods, fees drop. The platform does not set this.
